A pocket altar is a small, sacred space designed to be carried in a bag or pocket for prayer, meditation, or grounding. Pocket altars are a perfect use for treasured or fancier materials adding to their beauty and joy.

Zero Waste Denim Whale
Create an adorable stuffed whale out of old jeans and "unwanted" textiles including thread & buttons. The whale will be stuffed with fabric scraps and old clothes. Intermediate sewing skills.

Learn how to use basic sewing equipment and make a cool fun bag. We'll cover fabric choice, hand sewing, ironing and use a sewing machine.

Intro to Mending Looms
Intro to Mending Looms
Learn how to make creative woven patches to mend or decorate clothing using a "speedweve" style mending loom. The loom creates visible mending patches using hooks, a warp and a weft. It's fun and slightly addictive. Speedweve looms available for additional fee of $22.

Add a Patchwork Panel to a Pair of Jeans
Transform a pair of jeans into your favorite pants. Using fabric scraps we'll make machine patchwork panels to insert into a pair of jeans. Basic sewing skills are needed.
