Sgraffito

Sgraffito is the art of etching on clay and is thought by many to be our first written language. Create your own sgraffito decorated tile and cup, carving gorgeous designs into the surface of provided forms and tiles.

  • When: Thursday, July 23

  • Instructor: Tim Christensen

  • Ages: Adult

  • Bring: All materials provided.

  • Location: Combs Studio, 56 Main Street, Prospect Harbor, ME 04669

Flexible Tuition:

  • Pay It Forward Price: $105 – I am able to pay the tuition with an additional donation to support SAFA’s programs.

  • Full Price: $80 – I can make the price work financially.

  • Discount Price: $65 – (limited availability): Paying full price would be a stretch for me financially.

  • For All Price: $50 – (limited availability): Paying the full tuition would be a significant financial hardship.

Our goal is to make these workshops accessible to all, while maintaining sustainability of both the Arts for All Initiative and Schoodic Arts for All as a non-profit organization, as well as supporting our teaching artists by paying them fairly.
