Acrylic Pour Painting

This fluid art technique uses acrylics and a canvas. Poured paint lets colors blend to create unique patterns and forms. Abstraction is the key here. Everyone can be successful in expressing their inner creativity in a gorgeous finished product.

  • When: Saturday, July 25

  • Instructor: Sandi Cirillo

  • Ages: Teen, Adult

  • Bring: An old towel and wear old clothes that you don't mind getting paint on.

Ansel Adams: As Inspiration

Ansel Adams: As Inspiration

Ansel Adams is one of the most celebrated photographers of the 20th century. Inspired by his artistic style, we will do some hands-on drawing of our own, capturing on paper our own impressions of the surrounding landscape.

In this class, students will learn how to draw a variety of flowers and leaves using simple easy to follow techniques. We may even add a little watercolor to our creations.

Perspective Drawing

Perspective drawing is an artistic technique that creates the illusion of depth and space on flat paper by making objects appear smaller as they recede in the distance. We'll learn how to draw a city scene and houses. We might even do a forest full of trees!

  • Bring: Pencils, ruler and drawing paper or plain white copy paper.
