Schoodic Arts for All is hosting their annual Caribbean Night fundraiser on Saturday, March 13th, at 6 p.m., at Hammond Hall, 427 Main Street in Winter Harbor, come rain or snow.
Historic Hammond Hall will be decked out for a Chase-the-Winter-Blues-Away Party! Dance to the tropical tunes of Blue Hill’s well-known steelpan band, Planet Pan, directed by Nigel Chase. Everyone is welcome to share the fun with good company, great music and - don’t forget- fantastic food: authentic jerk chicken,
empanadas, and margarita pie… something for everyone.
The doors will open at 6 pm for a nominal cost of $7, kids 12 and under are free.
As always, we welcome new volunteers to cook or decorate for this event, or for any of the various events we offer throughout the year. For more information, please call Julia Conway at 963-2569.

Paul Sullivan Performing this July! |

We welcome back one of Hammond hall's favorite performers, pianist and composer Paul Sullivan. Paul will enchant you with his award winning original music as well as favorites from the Great American Songbook. Paul will also be introducing the extraordinary talent of Rosie Upton, a 15 year-old singer from Maine who will amaze you!
Paul's song "Whisper" (from the Break Away CD) is a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition. The competition also has a "People's Choice Award", determined by which song gets the most internet votes. You can vote for "Whisper" by Paul Sullivan here.

Tim Sample to Perform in August |
Maine’s favorite native born humorist presents a “family friendly” evening of his famous Downeast songs and stories. Tim Sample has earned his reputation as Maine’s master storyteller. Born and raised in Maine, Tim has performed across the country and sold over a million books, CDs, and DVDs. For 11 years Tim was a network correspondent for CBS News Sunday Morning. |

We are a non-profit organization that brings art and culture to the Schoodic Peninsula area and surrounding communities in Downeast Maine. We provide music, art, dance, theater, writing, crafts, poetry, sculpture, fiber arts, and jazz in performances and workshops at affordable prices. To encourage families to attend events together, children are admitted free to all 90 performances. |
